My question which I don’t see addressed anywhere. How do you feel about letting your traffic know they will be clicking through to Amazon. Right now we are just using “click here for details and current price” which sets our cookie. However, I had an Amazon rep tell me we would do better by letting the visitors know where they are going. I have never tested that. Have you?

Once you have WordPress installed it will look very plain out of the box. By default WordPress is in the format of a blog. You can upgrade the look of WordPress by installing themes or templates that give it a better appearance. A lot of themes retain the blog format while other themes make WordPress appear like a traditional website. Our best advice is to keep it simple and clean layout since there is no “best” theme. There are thousands of themes out there so a simple Google search will give you a great selection to choose from.

Hi Tommy. I vet the programs listed on my site and eliminate the ones that people make complaints about. But its important for you to also use your due diligence when you choose a program. Google the name of the company followed by queries such as “complaints” and “fraud” and “scam” to see if people are making accusations. You can also contact their affiliate manager directly to ask questions. If you can’t locate an affiliate manager that is definitely a red flag. Affiliates were among the earliest adopters of pay per click advertising when the first pay-per-click search engines emerged during the end of the 1990s. Later in 2000 Google launched its pay per click service, Google AdWords, which is responsible for the widespread use and acceptance of pay per click as an advertising channel.
